A wiki is a web page document used to discuss different different topics with many different people.
Everyone in your classroom will have access to this wiki.
Rules for our class wiki:
1. Respect all users
2. No profanity
3. Stay on topic
4. Make your postings meaningful
Options for adding to wiki:
1. Pictures or other media (ei., video, music, ...)
2. Comments
3. Researched information
4. Website links
Assignments
Week 1: Who is your significant person in Black History? Explain why they are significant.
Include name, picture, and at least two comments to other student's posts.
Week 2: Give seven to ten facts about your significant person in Black History.
Parent post is also due.
Week 3: Create time line of person's life

Mrs. Davis, You and your students should be proud of your work on this wiki. This probably already has been and will continue to be a great learning experience. To be able to learn so much about Black History while learning to utilize Web 2.0 tools has to be motivational as well as informational. Thanks again for inviting me to see what all of you have created! Keep learning!
