I'm going to do a Black History Project about Michelle Obama.

Michelle Lavaughn Robinson was born on January 17, 1964 in Chicago, IIinois.  She was born to Fraser Robinson lll. She grew up on Euclid Avenue in Chicago. She was raised conventional two-parent home. Also, she and her brother Craig had skip second grade.  When she was in the sixth grade, Michelle joined a  gifted class at Bryn Mawr(Bouchet Academy)Elementary School. She  attended  Whitney Young High School. When she went there she was on the honor roll for four years in school. She was a member of the National Honor Society and was student council tresurer. She graduated from high school as a Salutatorian. Also, she graduate cumlaude with a Bachelor of Arts in 1985. She obtained her J.D.degree from Harvard Law School in 1988. Michelle Obama is the third first lady that had a postgraduate degree. She met Barack Obama. The couple first date was to the Spike Lee movie. The Movie called " Do The Right Things." The couple got married in 1992. They had children named Malia Ann and Natasha(Sasha).

Thoughtout Michelle husband's campaign for President of the United States, she made a commitment to be away overnight. The Obamas daughters went to school at University of Chicago Lab School. Its was a private school they had attended. When they had move to Washington ,D.C Sasha and Malia attended Sidwell Friends School.

Following law school, She was associate of Chicago office of the law. Thats where she first met her husband. In 1993, she became Executive Director for the Chicago office of the Public Allies. She worked there almost for four years.  In 1996, Obama served Associate Dean of Students Services at the Unversity of Chicago. Thats where Michelle developed the Unversity's Community Service Center. In 2002, she begin working for the University's Chicago Hospitals.

May 14, 2007 Michelle served on the board directors of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. According to the couples when 2006 income tax return, she had a salvery of 273,618 from the Unversitys of Chicago Hospitals. The total of Obama income was 991,216. Including 51,200 she earned as a memberof the Board of Directors. Thats was alot of money they had when income tax came. In 2008, Michelle husband Barack Obama was elected to be the President of the United States of America. And he made it. It was a miracle for a Black African person to be president . We  finally got a first black African American lady and man to come to the White House.  Michelle and Barack Obama to be in the White House today. History is had finally made it.
