1979-He graduated from Punahou School and spends two years at Occidental College.

1985-Graduates from Columbia University

1988-Starts studying at Harvard Law School.

1996-Re-elected into Illinois State senate

1999-His first daughter was born

2001-Hist second daughter was born

2006-Announce that he will seek the 2008 Democratic party nomination

2008-Wins the Iowa caucus

2009-Becomes the first African-American president 

Whats Up?  I am doing a project on ,our United States president, Barack Obama.  He is our first African American president, that made history all over the world, and he became the 44th president.  Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the first African American president of the Harvard Law Review.  Also he was elected Senate in 2000 of November, but he had unsuccessful bid for a seat in the U.S House of Representatives. Of his early childhood, Obama has recalled, "That my father looked nothing like the people around me — that he was black as pitch, my mother white as milk."Did you know that Obama used  alcohol, marijuana and cocaine, but through all his down falls and up comings I still thing he is a great president!!!
